We are a family church offering a warm welcome to all who come on to our premises. We meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30am and celebrate Holy Communion once a month. There is a Prayer Chain as well as a Bible study group. Socially, we have the ‘Fun and Friendship’ club and ‘Ladies who Lunch’, and for over 30 years we have had an annual Festival of Flowers.

Our facilities are available for use for various events. Many are detailed on our church notice boards or through a weekly email of notices sent to anyone who is interested. We also issue a monthly magazine called ‘The Messenger’.

We are also delighted to have Sarah Hampton now working three days a week as our Community Chaplain and Outreach Worker.

History

The church was built on a site, ownership of which was the subject of a great struggle between a firm of brewers and the Temperance Movement at the turn of the 20th century. The church opened in March 1907 with the main hall added in 1939.
